I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club, and have been in the dog business all my life.
You might say I was whelped, not born into this life. My grandfather bred and showed German Shepherds, my mom started with Springers , my aunt Kathy breeds Goldens and my aunt Teri started with Corgis. I have been stacking dogs since I could walk! My children are following in my "paw" prints :) My sons compete in junior handling.
I have shown and finished hundreds of dogs. Too many to have kept track of in 28+ years of showing. I started in Jr's when I was 8.
My #1 desire is for the dogs to be happy and well cared for. None of the dogs are ever left alone in the show buildings at night. Where ever I am, they will be with me.
All dogs are walked to do their business many times a day, never in expens.
New dogs are encouraged to come and meet me while owners and I discuss nutrition, conditioning and training. I believe that what happens before the dogs get in the ring is essential to winning.
All of my past and present clients can be contacted for a reference. A good rapport with dogs and owners is very important to me as we need to work as a team to reach the top. I love what I do, that's why I do this!
