We live in beautiful Shawnigan Lake B.C. Canada, one hour from our
capital city Victoria and central island city of Naniamo.
Our home is on a gorgeous half acerage minutes from the beach. There are
many trails for walking and Stellar Jays who reside on the property.
Kyle 21 and Cole 9 enjoy the island way of life.;very laid back .
I work for School District 62 as a Communication Facilitator for the deaf.
Kyle loves sports, snowboarding, skateboarding & lacrosse .
Cole is in Gr 4. He loves soccer & showing dogs & just starting lacrosse.
We are a very busy family where dogs are an everyday part of our world.
Not only do I show dogs for conformation , but I also train and compete in obedience, hunting trials, agility and tracking.
It was an incredible honor when I was asked if I would like to take over the kennel name
" Chigal". Along with that honor, came her last dog that she had at home "Magic" Ch. Chigals The Magic of Miracles, who has fit in our home very well.
Chi-Gal means Chivas Regal a 'top quality golden' scotch whisky!
"Chigal" comes from my good friend and mentor, Anne Brown. Anne and her husband Byron, owned and produced some of the best Golden Retrievers in BC including "Turk"

My stud dog "Riggs" is from Chigal lines, and I am looking forward to adding the name Chigal to any of his offspring. I hope I can do the "Chigal" name justice.
